2011 St Patrick’s Day Parade
Odd Fellows Home had a brand new parade float this year, which was built as an outline of the Odd Fellows Home building, a familiar landmark for many in the City of Worcester. The float had pots of gold all around it and a rainbow over it. It looked great and won lots of praise from the parade supporters.
This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade was on Sunday 13th March. Like every year, the parade began at Webster Square on Park Ave and ended at Highland Street. It was a chilly and windy afternoon, but that did not stop the paraders and the supporters from bringing their St. Patrick’s Day cheer. The streets were lined with parade supporters on both sides and the entire event was telecast live on WCCA TV 13.
All in all, it was a great parade and lots of fun for all!!! Here are some pictures : Read more
